The Ranger Plus™ LTRP Ultrasonic Level Transmitter delivers accurate non-contact level measurement in two range configurations: the LTRP-10 with a 4 to 120 inch measuring range, and the LTRP-35 with a 12 to 420 inch measuring range. With three simultaneous analog outputs — 0–10 VDC voltage, 4–20mA sourcing current loop, and 4–20mA sinking current loop — plus two fully configurable solid-state switches, the Ranger Plus™ replaces multiple instruments in a single compact unit.

The sensor is housed in chemically inert PVDF sealed housing, rated NEMA 4X, NEMA 6P, and IP68, making it well suited for corrosive, sticky, or dirty media across a wide range of industrial environments. Both switches are configurable as NPN or PNP with adjustable setpoint, hysteresis, window mode, ON/OFF time delays, and loss-of-target response — providing alarm and control functionality without additional external relays or controllers.

Configuration is handled through the free Ranger Plus™ PC software via RS-485 serial interface. The software enables full parameter control, real-time sensor viewing, strip chart analysis, statistics, data logging, and rapid sensor cloning across multiple units. Up to 32 sensors can be networked on a single RS-485 bus with SYNC functionality to eliminate crosstalk in close-proximity installations.

Temperature compensation is built in and enabled by default. Adjustable filters — including input rejection, running average, boxcar average, and distance limiting — allow the sensor to handle turbulence, mixer blades, and other real-world interference. All settings are stored in non-volatile memory. An optional CONNEX 3D cellular modem enables wireless remote monitoring with scheduled and event-driven data transmission.
