Description

No Moving Parts. No Compromise.

The MagFlo™ MMFM Magnetic Flow Meter is FLO-CORP's full-bore electromagnetic flow solution for virtually any conductive liquid process application. Built on Faraday's Law of electromagnetic induction, the MMFM measures flow without any moving parts — eliminating the wear, maintenance, and pressure drop associated with mechanical meters.

Available in compact (integral) or remote transmitter configurations, the MMFM is offered in flanged and wafer styles with line sizes from ½ inch to 24 inches and flow ranges up to ±55,000 GPM. The meter body is carbon steel with polyurethane coating as standard, with an SS316 flow tube beneath the liner. Liner options include PTFE (rated to 248°F standard, 356°F custom) and Hard Rubber (rated to 140°F), and electrode materials extend to Titanium, Hastelloy Alloy C, and Tantalum for aggressive chemical compatibility.

The converter features a 32-bit CPU, LCD display, and four-key interface for full parameter configuration on-site. All 54 parameters are accessible through a tiered password system, covering flow units, range, direction, alarms, pulse output, analog output, communications, and calibration. Noise damping and pulse width are programmable via HART or push buttons. Zero-point stability is automatic or fully programmable.

Outputs include a 4–20mA analog signal (750Ω max load), scaled pulse/frequency output up to 5kHz, and high/low alarm relays — all optically isolated to >1000VDC. Digital communications support HART, Modbus RTU via RS-485, and optional GPRS. The meter's self-diagnostic system continuously monitors for empty pipe, flow alarms, and system excitation faults, reporting status codes directly on the LCD.
