The CorFlo™ CMFM is FLO-CORP's Coriolis mass flow meter, designed for applications where measurement accuracy and repeatability are non-negotiable. Using the Coriolis principle, the meter measures the effect of a flowing fluid on vibrating tubes to determine mass flow directly, without relying on secondary calculations from velocity or pressure. This approach delivers some of the most accurate flow and density readings available, with mass flow accuracy of plus or minus 0.1 to 0.5% and repeatability of plus or minus 0.1 to 0.25%.

Unlike volume-based flow meters that can be affected by changes in fluid temperature, pressure, or composition, the CorFlo™ measures true mass, making it inherently immune to variations in fluid properties. It simultaneously measures mass flow, volume flow, fluid density, and temperature, all from a single instrument. This multi-variable capability reduces the need for additional sensors and simplifies system design, particularly in applications where density monitoring is as important as flow measurement.

The meter is built around dual parallel measuring tubes constructed from SS316L stainless steel, housed in an SS304 stainless steel body. It is rated for operating temperatures from -58 to 392°F, with an extended range down to -328°F and up to 572°F, and handles nominal pressures up to 4.0MPa with a maximum of 35MPa. The transmitter supports both 4-20mA and pulse outputs, with Modbus communication for integration into control systems, and is available in standard integrated or remote configurations with IP67 cable gland protection on remote installations.

The CorFlo™ is available in nine pipe sizes from 3/8 inch to 6 inch, covering flow rates from as low as 0 to 1.6 t/hr up to 0 to 600 t/hr, with process connections in NPT or F150 flange. The transmitter displays up to six variables including mass flow, volume flow, total mass, total volume, density, and temperature, with adjustable damping, small signal cutoff, and zero calibration functions accessible via the onboard infrared keypad interface or Modbus.
